Our uniquely qualified staff will oversee a lot of the provision and will be available at all times to chat about any concerns you may have. The basis of the planning will be based around the 5 outcomes of Every Child Matters: Be Healthy, Enjoy & Achieve, Stay Safe, Make a Positive Contribution and Achieve Economic Well-being. This is achieved by working within the guidelines of the Early Years Statutory Framework.
The staff believe that a child's learning journey is unique and special to them.
With this in mind we strive to ensure all our families have their individual aspirations met.
All members of staff hold current, valid Enhanced DBS checks.
(We're fully committed to Continuous Personal Development. The staff complete additional courses to support our children, the learning environment and personal interest. The website show cases our required certificated courses. We have copies of all our courses available at Preschool).
We are a Charity Incorporated Organisation (CIO) Charity Number 1201603
We have recently changed our charity status and are currently updating with Ofsted and other organisations.
Preschool is overseen by a voluntary team of trustees. The trustees are responsible for overseeing pre-school's policies and fundraising.
They are not responsible for day-to-day operations: that responsibility lies with the Play Leader and Business Manager.
The Trustees meet twice a year.
Good communication between the Trustees and staff is crucial to the smooth running of Pre-school and so at least one member of staff attends each Trustee meeting. Information regarding our Trustees can be requested.
